She has the chance at an easy uncomplicated life altering love but is stubborn and chooses a guy that is ever so slightly grating on the nerves. Oh well..It was a great series and most will love the love she chose he just wasn't my cup of tea so to speak.

If you're 50 or about to turn 50 or once were 50, you'll enjoy this book. It's inspirational. Wu collected a remarkable bunch of people to interview. Did these 50 people have great birthdays, or are they just the sort of people who live interesting lives, period? It's interesting to reflect that baby boomers, who have broken all kinds of records, continue to redefine the word "lifestyle." The values of the 60's generation come through clearly in the group Wu has found to interview. The book focuses on the depth of meaning and life philosophy that can come with the word "celebration". These people are celebrating not only a half century of living, but life itself. The intro, by Depak Chopra, is worth the price of the book alone.

No missing pages, all pages clean no dirt grease etc.

Library book. No purchase. What an interesting idea. I taught history for 15 years and never, even once, considered the historical backgrounds of colors. My loss. Now remedied. Book does just this. It explains the provenance of certain, admittedly obscure, colors and how they have influenced history. In good ways and bad. We all know about the power of gold and the Spanish colonization of Latin America. Or we should, but other colors and their historical relevance are also studied. Fun illustrations. Almost like a 21st century Golden Book. In a very good way. Easy read. Probably great for an art teacher teaching 5th through 8th graders. Could be used in conjunction w another historical unit covering a certain region or time. Brush up w this one.

A nice overview on Reykjavik. By reading this book, I came to know the most amazing things in Reykjavik that I didn't before. If you want to travel in Reykjavik then must read this book.
